As of April 22, 2024 the Planning Center Services and Music Stand mobile apps will no longer support Android 4.4. We strive to support older mobile devices as far back as we possibly can and carefully consider these decisions. We know that churches have limited resources and we want to let you continue using what works for you for as long as possible.
That said, we have a very strong stance on keeping your data secure and older versions of Android simply do not support the modern security protocols we require. Google itself dropped support for this version of Android last summer.
Considering Android 4.4’s nickname “KitKat” I guess you could say we’re breaking off our final piece. 😅
If you have the apps installed, they’ll remain on your device until you delete them. You may be able to access some older information but they will be unable to receive new information.
